what is the gasket where a Greddy 4-2 piece of a header meet? i was told its the average paper gasket...i called Greddy up today and they told me that its the same they use for stock material...i was wondering if i can use a stronger material and make my own that wont break...my cousin made one out of thin aluminum he got from Home Depot...anyone know where i can get a good material to use and make my own gasket?

At most auto parts stores they sell exhaust gasket materal. Its usually in a roll about nine inches wide and metalic gray color. Its about .050 thick and fairly flexable. You just roll it out and cut it to size. I used it on my exhaust and it dosen't leak at all. I don't know if I would trust it on the manifold-head conection though.
