I'm not worried about the obd2 memory...I have the work around. I've read somewhere that unless the computer is in closed loop(wide open throttle) the ecu will not use the vafc's fuel maps...instead while cruising it will continuously tune itself for best fuel economy(stoich). That's why if you have a a/f meter...you can see the a/f ratio bounce back and forth between rich and lean.
Actually there's a thread on Honda-Tech where the guy states that if you tune the V-AFC for 97%+ throttle input the ECU will still tune the partial throttle only and the WOT will still stay tuned. Just curious though, why do you want to tune the partial throttle? A shop will do it, but it'll take a LOT more time than WOT.
