there's different kinds of armor all - i use the lower shine one and it doesn't shine much at all after a day. looks nice. kind of a pain to get to all the nooks and crannies.

i just clean it with a slightly wet soapy rag, and then if needed, use mother's protectant. don't use armor all, it just attracts dust...

I think using anything besides water and soap would promote "shininess".

Im not as much concerned with "Shininess" as much as UV protection. I dont want this to ever dry out and carck on me.

Don't you guys think that soap and water would cause cracking and drying?

I use the stuff that the Honda dealer gave me (I got a cleaning pack that had Soap, spot polish, glass cleaner, vinyl and leather protector and tire glaze when I bought the car)

i use armor all

attracts dust and its some nasty white creamy color...

gonna look for some other stuff when I run out of this bottle. Not saying that it doesn't work, but it attracts dust/lint like mad. But has kept my dashboard nice and shiny and new looking.

here's a great trick/tip that works great on dashboards to repel dust.

use a dryer sheet like bounce to wipe it down. you guys know what dryer sheets do in order to keep your clothes static free..same idea for anything it touches, including our dashboards(you 4th genners know our dashes double as dust pits).

if you smoke, like i do, also put a sheet under the seats and they work great in absorbing odor.
