What are correct numbers for compression test for a healthy 5th gen 5 spd???
Just curious cause my friend is doing it for me. I know the numbers should be between 10% on each cylinder.
thanks for any info.
the numbers aren't as important as you think. If you perform the test the same way for each cylinder and get #'s that do not vary more than 10% you should be ok. I say this because there are different ways to do these tests and the #'s will be affected. If you got 160 all the way across i wouldn't worry too much. normally, preludes get 200-240.
