I have a Euro R swapped SH running using the USDM ECU.
Not sure which parts you have swapped over from your old motor already, but a lot of parts from my original motor were swapped onto the Euro R to essentially convert it to a USDM motor.
(I probably left some parts out, but here's what I remember)
Throttle body
EGR valve
Fuel Rail + Injectors
Distributor + external coil
Crank position sensor
Crank pulley
Timing sprocket
Cam sprockets

If you have everything swapped over and hooked up with no codes, I think you should have no issues with smog check.
Hopefully you got the t2w4 with the motor too, the car feels so much better with it.
