hey coil,

i saw your interior pics and i was wondering a few things if you wouldn't mind sharing

i noticed behind your center vents you have some light to make them look blue, whats behind there? 6" neon light?

also, your clock is a different color, how di dyou change that?

Tim,
well the center vents are blue, I painted them along w/ just about any easy to remove plastic in the interior.
Behind the center vents is a 6" neon, and there are also 3" neons behinde the side vents. They were all very easy to hook up.
(I'm borrowing power/ground from the clock.)
Use these instructions to get the center vents out, the side ones just pull out.
To kill 2 birds with one stone, these instructions are how to preform the green clock mod.

Here are the steps for coil222`s green clock mod... enjoy
1) pull out the center dash panel... just pry out starting from the bottom and working your way up. (put a towel
over a flat head screwdriver)
2) remove panel w/ clock & center vents. Unclip wiring harnesses for clock & hazard button.

3) unscrew clock - pry open clock housing w/ flat head screwdriver.

4) Push Really hard on the orange plastic to remove it from clock housing.

5) put it all back together again and you have a bright green clock... almost looks like the VAFC... which is
right above my clock.

hey coil, how did you get that nice blue/green effect in your headlights? I have blue bulbs in there an it looks nothing like that!

Tony,
Plain blue 194's in the parking lights for the green effect. Street Glow headlight neon accent kit for the blue effect. They were drilled into the headlight assembly.
sooner or later I will install a 2nd set of street glows for the lower part so they show up completely Neon blue.
