nope. the crank wont work for sure (100% sure). and one of either the power steering or alt doesnt work either. mainly sue to different belts (different rib count).

even if they were two different part numbers, you could still use the 5th gen. on the 4th gen. as long as all the pulleys are changed out.

im sure theres a difference caus i was sent the 4th gen vtec instead of a 5th gen vtec. and i know for a fact they are different. especially the rib count

hmm... im like 90% sure. i can double check it caus i have this insturction sheet that had the parts and stuff listed for all models and that was how i figured out i had the wrong one. i wont be home till this weekend to see it though
