thinking about gettin an acura CL. 1998 with low mileage. Havent test driven it yet so i want to know if any of you know anything about it? nice?

My friend has a 98 CL 3.0, I have driven it before and it's fast. I raced him before when my car was still stock, I could beat him by 1-2 car length in 1st and 2nd, when I shifted to 3rd, he catched up and we were dead even. and it's very comfortable and large space. one thing i don't like this car is the rear, i don't like those tail lights.
the front looks ok.

the one i am lookin at is the 2.3. is that still decently fast? considering what it is? and saying that the CL is just an accord with a different shell is like saying that the lincoln navigator is an expedition with a different shell. they may be similar, but you cant compare the comfort and luxury level of the lincoln and the expedition. same here with the CL over the accord

2.3, 150hp, SOHC... how fast do you think that is???
look at the car, inside and out... if everything is from the accord, then what is it???? a f*cking accord.


i'm not looking to flame... so lay off. it's just my opinion. i'm just saying for that, you can just get an accord. for me, if everything else is the same, why buy the i30 when the maxima can be had for $5k less???

the CL is MUCH MUCH better than any class accord. the 2.3 is obviously not in the same league as the lude in performance but its still a very good car over all. plenty of room and comfort and still with a decent engine to provide what u need to go around in.

yeah i looked at a 99TL too. With the Navigation system and all. it was nice but not sporty enough. know what i mean?

don't get me wrong, i do like the car. just that everything about it screams "accord". if you're willing to pay the extra $$ for the same basic car, by all means, be my guest.

just answer be realistic if you would pass up the oppurtunity to have a lincoln navigator then i think you need to pull your pants down in front of everyone to prove that you are really a man
