recently went turbo and having high EGT's that could have killed the alternator but i alo relocated the battery to the trunk i am not sure if this helped at all

but i did the old test with the car running removed the negative terminal and the car died also i hooked a multimeter to the battery and was only getting 12 volts and was slowly dropping and the lights started to get dim

although on time it did stay running with the terminal off and i tested the wires off the battery to see what kind of voltage the alt. was putting out and i got 11 Volts then it would just die every time i pulled the cable after that

you dont have pulleys do you?I'd replace the battery first or see about charging it,and if you still have problems, then replace the alternator
