Hey guys, new to the forums, but had my Prelude (1998, AT, I know... I know... ;P) for about a year and a half now. I live in Ohio, and just the other day I slid and crashed into a small rock, but it was enough to substantially bend some of the front end (the metal BEHIND the bumper) and blow both airbags. I'm only tech savvy enough to install simple electrical parts where discrete wiring isn't an issue, so I'm not gonna touch the deployed airbags myself, I'm taking it in, but my question is this... What is gonna happen if I decide not to replace the passenger side, and just have the dash put back together? Can I even do that? I really don't have a TON of money to throw at it, I was definitely not expecting to hit the rock, but now that I have, I am stuck. So what should I expect as far as my passenger airbag? Can they just take it out and put the dash back together without the device installed? Kinda wanna know so I don't go in there and they tell me I need to when I really don't.
