If you want looks, yes. If you want performance, no (well, perhaps the kit will perform marginally better).

But do you think the AEM kit will be better? thanks!
Correct. Basically larger rotors have more heat soak capabilities, and since the lever arm is longer, the pads don't have to exert as much force to get the same stopping power. Less force = less heat = less fade. However, I find that fade is not really an issue with good pads and fluid. I would be more concerned about the cross drilling than fade....Originally posted by imagepree:
i would think that your braking performance would be helped out more w/ better pads or perhaps, better calipers.. not rotors. just my $0.02. bigger rotors just have less fade... right billy?

Cross drilling = cracking = potential rotor failure = you in hospitalOriginally posted by 71dsp:

Don't forget that you are increasing unsprung weight, and you will have to use a larger diameter rim.Originally posted by H23Lude:
yeh i have powerslot slotted rotors with axxis pads and ATE superblue fluid. I'm pretty happy with this set up but i was just wondering if the AEM kit will give me better braking than what i have now. I dont really care for looks...i'm looking for performance...even though they do look nice.
