i have a prelude 92 S....base model.....i think i'm gonna replace the engine in another 50K miles. is it possible to drop in an H23 (si engine) and put Si parts on it? how about an H22 A w a vtec head? any idea on how much doing all that **** costs? this car is just temporary for the next few years until i get a new one. but for now i want it to be a decent car....so far i only have an AEM CAI on it. Also, on the AEM is i had to grind teh hole for the intake tube to go thru. Is it ok for the rubber sock of the filter to be slightly touching the metal hole? the metal is bent and not sharp. Just need advice =). Just got into preludes a few months ago.

haha. he's my friend. i was just surprised he came on to HA.net, after all the times he asked me why do I look at that website so much.
yea LOwresting, it is ok for the rubber to be "slightly touching" the metal hole. i opened up the hole a little for the tube to go through. barely enough, but it can't hurt it, unless it is rubbing hard or rattling, u may screw it up then.
