Just received a 91 Prelude (my first lude) as a birthday gift from my aunt. It's not in great condition, but it's a project. Also, the interiors toast, so that's just all the better reason to strip it out.

What I need to figure out is why my battery is draining. Apparently there has been a series of sun roof leaks (meaning more then likely the hoses were never cleaned out), as well as a power window install that was never finished. They have also gone through and created one hell of a nightmare for me by disconnecting a lot of things that still didn't stop the drain (see: cruise control, dome light, dummy lights on top of the rear view mirror, as well as a multitude of other things).

Apparently Kristen over at OHPOC has the same problem with hers. She said they aren't sure about it either. Maybe some one here has an idea?

Your battery is probably draining because the alternator is bad. Take your car to a local auto parts store and they can test the battery and alternator.

Holy ****.

I just looked at prices on an alternator. Two hundred and fifteen dollars.

Balls.
