I have a base 1998 prelude with 112,000 miles and the gears shift relatively hard (clunk in) when the engine is cold. I bought it with 70,000 and didn't occur until a few thousand later. This happens even in the summer when it is 85 degrees. After the engine warms up it is usually fine. When it shifts it seems to go into neutral and then catch. Would a transmission flush help this problem? Thanks for any help.
