uh... yeah i was looking at some SSR wheels in 17x8 and was wondering if that would work with an offset of +45--+48 i only plan on dropping my car 1" with coilovers oh yeah and what size tires would go best with these? 215 40 17? or 215 40 17? i cant remember the stock size and I'm to lazy to walk to my car to get it.

Can't go wrong with either! That's the size I'm using and I think it's the best to use.

+45 might work with those rims......I'm not totally sure though. I think it depends on your suspension as well.

im on 18 x 8 with 44 offset, on 225/35/18,
lowered 1.4 on H&R and no rubbing.

so 17 x 8 with 45 offset lowered 1 inch would work.
45 should work, but get 48 if it is available if you want to be extra sure. for 8" wide rims, 225 is the better fit...235s work too (sidewalls round out) and no on 215s (shoulders slant inward - stretched!). i'm not really sure what the aspect ratio should be but that is probably up to a tire calculator or you can do it yourself if you know how to.

225/??/17s...but i suspect it's like 45 or 50 (not 40 though).
