OK, here's your chance. I am orchestrating a group buy for:
OBD1 Plug and Play VAFC1 Adapter Harness
OBD1 Plug and Play VAFC2 Adapter Harness
OBD2a Plug and Play VAFC1 Adapter Harness
OBD2a Plug and Play VAFC2 Adapter Harness
By plug and play, I mean these things plug RIGHT into the VAFC. No wiring needed! Installs literally as fast as you can unplug your ECU wiring and plug it back in.
These harnesses are GUARANTEED to work on all OBD1 Hondas (92-95) OR OBD2a (96-01), not just Preludes. Pass this info on to any buddies that might have Civics, Integras, Accords, etc.
Build quality on these harnesses is EXCELLENT. Check the last GB thread for info (VAFC Harness Group Buy - Plug and Play!) and see what people have to say. this is by far the best harness you will find anywhere. ALL pins are wired through, not just the ones that are used (that's why it will work on all Hondas).
OK, so what you really want to know:
- $165 SHIPPED (Priority) in the US. Email me for int'l shipping.
- I need 15 buyers for each to do this. The # of VAFC1 and VAFC2 harnesses doesn't matter (I just need 15 total).
- The buy will be executed when we have 15 buyers lined up for that harness type.
- Payment will be handled via PayPal.
Email me at sales@marcuccimotorsports.com your email, real name, username, and qty/type (OBD1/2, VAFC 1/2) if you are interested. I will email everyone when I have enough people to buy that particular harness. I will be able to ship within 1 week of having enough PayPals to execute the buy. You will NOT have to pay until we get enough people.
As an added bonus, I will offer a $15 refund to anyone who ships me their original VAFC connection pigtail in GOOD CONDITION(these can be used on future harnesses). I will refund upon reciept and confirmation that it is in good shape. I only had one taker on this for the last GB, please realize you guys can save a few bucks here.
Email or post if you have any questions. Please check the last GB thread, too, since a lot of questions were already answered there.
Originally posted by azninside so this is to plug the VAFC and harness directly into the ECU w/o havin to cut any wires?! so it's perfectly removable and no one would know that it was used? I'm down
If you are asking this question then you probably shouldn't run a VAFC with a JRSC. The VAFC would need to be the last thing in the chain before the ECU. I would not recommend getting it unless you really know what you are doing.
marcucci, any update on this? I'm afraid if we don't move on this soon you'll start to see a lot of people backing out. I really need this soon and don't have a problem paying a little more for it since we didn't get 15. THANKS!!
Although we do not have enough buyers of each type of harness to make the original price, if I can get a total of 10 orders together (of any type of harness) I can put the order in for $15 higher, or $180 shipped (in the US/Canada). I can probably cover a couple of them if we fall just short of the mark, but I will need to get money from everyone up front.
If you are interested and have not already emailed me, DO SO NOW! I will wait until the 6th and then I will place the order. If you have already contacted me, check your email, you should have instructions for payment in your inbox.
I am also taking orders for a brand-new custom harness:
OBD2a to OBD1 Conversion Harness PLUS VAFC2 P&P
OBD2a to OBD1 Conversion Harness PLUS VAFC1 P&P
All are $180 shipped. I will try and always keep them in stock and will gladly refund payment if you pay and just can't wait if I'm out. Email me if you are interested in harnesses for OBD2b (newer than the Prelude) vehicles or OBD conversion. I can't beat other vendors on the simple OBD conversion harnesses though I can definitely beat them on quality and service.
Where were you a year ago when i sweated my balls off wiring my VAFC......if you are planning on installing a VAFC/2 anytime soon or in the future, i suggest you buy this. It would of made my life a lot easier....
Good lord, those are some big pics! I don't mind, sorry I never took hi-res ones. Thanks for the feedback!
A year ago I was trying to find something like this, sweating MY balls off wiring VAFCs for people on the weekends. Now we both have it easy.
I think the big thing people miss is that it makes it a snap to uninstall it. If you've ever had to remove one and resolder all those cut wires you know what I'm talking about. I've had maybe 1/4 as many people uninstall as install, either selling the car, upgrading fuel management, or something like that. When you go to do that you will REALLY wish you had bought one of these.
