PRICE CUT! Magnetic Drain Plugs, Engine + Trans Set $18 SHIPPED!

Sorry, but this GB is now closed.

Here's your chance to get a set of drain plugs for your engine & transmission for only $18 shipped!. As you may know your oil filter bypasses when the oil is cold & thick, on startup, or at high RPMs at high pressure. Since the filter is out of the loop & not filtering, you are at risk of circulating any metal shavings or debris in your oil pan. Running a magnetic drain plug also serves as a great early-warning indicator of any damage that may be ocurring inside your engine. With this you can usually identify a problem before it's too late to save the motor.

With your transmission, it has NO filter to keep out metallic debris. Honda transmissions come with a magnet in the case, but you cannot access it to clean it and once it's full... it stops taking any new debris out of circulation. I can tell you from experience that I have seen plenty of transmissions with 50k miles or more that have a saturated magnet. Every time you grind a gear... you need that magnet to get that material out of the oil. This plug will help catch anything that the OEM magnet does not, and also help indicate if you have a problem that needs to be looked at- before it becomes catastrophic. If you see a lot of shavings on this plug, you know there is trouble brewing. See below for an example.

These plugs:
- are made of hard anodized aluminum (VERY lightweight and strong, won't corrode or rust)
- will hold over 2 lbs of steel!
- neodymium magnet won't rust
- come with a soft aluminum crush washer (like OEM) for a perfect seal

Compare to Spoon or even generic plugs on ebay that sell for MUCH more. These are the highest quality, you know if I'm selling these that you WILL be satisfied.

Order now and you will receive these in less than a week (lower 48 states). Will ship outside the US via airmail for an additional $5 (any quantity). See the new/additional int'l links below. I apologize but I can no longer include int'l shipping in the base price (increase in postage as well as customs forms, etc. Please allow at least two weeks for int'l shipping, though I will ship airmail and you should recieve them in about 1 week.

Note that the transmission plug is the same as the ATTS plug for you Type SH owners (if you want to buy the engine/tranny set and put the tranny one in the ATTS unit). See the last option below for a set with 3 plugs to go in all 3 locations.

The transmission plug unfortunately will NOT fit in auto or sportshift transmissions. They will fit in other makes, so long as they use a 14mm x 1.50 thread pitch plug.

You can find instructions (and more information) on the drain bolts here.

Honda Drain Plug SET (Engine AND Manual Transmission) - $18 shipped

Honda Engine Oil Drain Plug - $11 shipped

Honda Manual Transmission (manual) Drain Plug - $11 shipped

Honda Type SH/ATTS Drain Plug SET (one each for the Engine, Manual Transmission AND ATTS!) - $27 shipped!!!

New! Buy sets for multiple Hondas (if you have 2 cars or want to go in with a buddy):
TWO Honda Engine Oil Drain Plugs - $19 shipped

TWO Honda Drain Plug SETS (Engine AND Manual Transmission) - $34 shipped

Here's an example of what these plugs do:

Bearing failure (due to lack of oiling)

Normal debris (due to a few gear grinds)

I installed mine last night. I'll check back with results. Are the torque specs the same as the stock plugs?

Still on- I was about to bump the thread.

The ATTS drain bolt is the same p/n as the transmission drain bolt.
