is it just direct plug and plya or will i need the ecu also? im kinda dumb when it comes to this. if it is direct plug and play, whatre the benefits other than for tuning?? or is that all? lmk!!
wait, to clear my question up a bit, will just swapping this harness out with mine make my obd2 ecu obd1??? im confused.
^ same questions as Andy up there but would also like to know if the harness + ECU once plugged in are indeed plug and play in terms of not having to alter anything on the car such as sensors.
So besides the connector and an odb1 ecu....what else do you need to do, or is it as simple as this connector.....plug in the ecu into the connector and your on your way

In a way sharkcohen is correct in not needing the OBDI distributor. But if you dont convert to the OBDI distributor you will have some lag before you get the power from the OBDII to OBDI conversion. It has to do with something about the speed of the rotor rotation in the distributor.
