Not sure. The +50 offset maybe ok but it also depends on the spoke design of the wheel. 5mm spacers should work though.

UPDATE: Only two sets available now (one with tires and one without). Be one of the last lucky two and drive in style! If these are the wheels you want don't pass up. We bought all of the Mugen leftovers and these are basically the last two new sets you can find on this side of the galaxy.

Isnt 215/45/17 too tall for the lude to use? we are supposed to use 215/40/17.

The 215/45-17 size is what Japanese Honda designated for the Prelude to use with 17x7 +50ET wheels. That size will actually "recalibrate" your speedometer and make it to read more accurately (with the stock 205/50-16 size the speedo is off by approx. 3%). The 215/40 is too short.

I thought the prelude never even came with 17inch wheels, when i was in japan all the SIR/Spec S, Type S prelude there came with 205/50/16 stock. Got any links to Japanese sites that have more information on the info on 17inch tire size from the factory?

anyways, those mugen are nice wheels.......

Those wheels I referred to were optional Honda Access 17" Modulo R5 alloys. Anyone who has a Honda Access catalog can verify this. If you read Japanese here is the note.

I run 215/45/17 on 17*7 45mm offset and approx 1.5" drop with no issues at all. I attribute the wheels being straight from the added profile.
