the ones that you are making look really good, but will the final product have a little more dip on the bottom of the gauges like the ones here?

Doubt they will since he said before that putting them lower and further in would mean we would have to cut the stock center piece a lot more.

But that would look awesome though

I'd be interested in one for the 4th gen but again, where would it be put?
Don't think there's a logical/attractive way to mount a triple pod in front of the sweet temp/fuel level gauges...

Maybe a dual one placed further to the right just enough to still face the driver and be reachable?

Also, the 3m tape would stick directly to our dash so removal of it would completely ruin our dash...

Just a thought.

I'll get pics up soon, I promise.

I've been given an ETA of two weeks for the GB order. It will take a week or so to modify the mold and then another week or so to shoot the parts and get them sent out. I would say 2-3 weeks and I will be requesting the balance and sending these out.

The 3M tape will not ruin the dash, I've already installed and removed this first sample. It may require some alcohol or simple green to remove the tape residue but it comes off without discoloring the dash. Incidentally Simple Green works great for removing old Armor-All or other protectant from the dash piece.

The pod takes Armor-All pretty well and matches an un-protected or protected OE piece well depending on whether or not you use it.

If a 4g owner comes up with a good place to mount one, let me know, and I will try and work with a local owner to mock one up and send it out for a prototype.

No other GB's in the works but this product will be commercially available in a few months (at a slightly higher price). I'll post back as soon as I find out when they will release it.

Unfortunately, no. We weren't able to achieve that.

Update: got word that their sample off the modified mold looks perfect. They will process the rest and I should have them about two weeks from today. I will inspect and make sure they are OK before requesting the balance payments from people who put in deposits, then ship on receipt of deposits.

Thanks for the patience!

OK... since so many of you have asked. More pics of the proto (before modifications), installed, with gauges:

In these following pics, you can see why I sent it back for modification... the base of the piece is just a little too small, resulting in a larger "gap" between the pod and the rest of the dash:

To reiterate, the mfr. has said that they have fixed the issue of the cluster being slightly too small and it now fits perfect. They are running the entire lot and will have them to me within the next two weeks. I will post back when I have them and start shipping them out as I get the balance of the payments in from people.

If for some reason you want out of the GB, PM or email me and you'll get a full refund.

Thanks!

No GB on gauges, sorry. At least not from me. There are far too many places already selling them and too many vendors, if you can't find a good deal then you just aren't looking.

OK... I found out this morning that they shipped. They just scanned in Jackson, MS and should be here tomorrow. As soon as I get them (hopefully tomorrow!) I will take pics, post them up, then send requests for the balance of the payment and verify shipping info.

Thanks everyone for the patience!
