VTEC oil pressure switch

Hey im sure this has already been posted but I dont have too much time to look around. Will the engine start and run normally if the oil pressure switch on the VTEC solenoid ISNT hooked up. Thanks for any input.

it will run find with the wires unplugged just a cel will come on and no vtec

Oh ok thnx. Well I started it for the first time and it was running like a champ but w/o vtec
