Unichip?

This is for an accord but this is the only forum I know that has some good knowledge about products. My friend told me about this chip he can get for his 2 door accord v6. I didn't believe him because all I thought you could get for Honda is an ECU like Hondata or some type of stand alone. How good is this chip and does it actually give more HP out of an engine? To me it sounds like BS but I just wanted to see what others think.

^you know what it looks like.......just more aggressive fuel maps preprogrammed in.....kinda like a piggyback

it prolly will work but for that much it would be nicer to have a customizable standalone

I don't see anything wrong with it. I'd say it's probably worth it's price. Just FYI, this is a piggyback system (like the VAFC) but non-adjustable (apparently). I have a fair idea of how it works. No rocket science there.

One more thing. The v6 guys get the shaft because no Hondata or standalone product I'm aware of supports the Honda v6 motors. You could get something exotic like the AEM race-version (customizable everything), but nobody is going to do that for a non-race motor like the Honda v6. They are the redheaded stepchildren of the import scene.
