ill post up dynos once am done installing new head and hoses let yall make up your minds what all it does. Just for reference this setup with the huge port job on the head and runners of the IM yielded 332CFM on our flow bench, ill remember to post up stuff as I install on this site, but the majority of my work with my fabricator is on the houston site and pp.com

Wow, that's really interesting. I'm kinda skeptical of a topmount TB setup; it's hard for me to see how that would do better than the stocker. However, I'm interested in seeing any results from this.

well the benefit it has over the stock side mount chamber is basically now the air being funneled directly into the path of the runners. Whereas with the side mounts, it is quieter than this but also loses some velocity because the air aims first for the opposite side of the chamber. So even with the vacuum that exists there, you still have moments of changing velocity which may be minute but likesay this and my hydrogen supplement project on campus have been keeping me considerably busy and I'm hoping dyno results will prove more than flow bench #s can.

Hell sound like it might work...

You could be one of those "cool kids" and get a ram air hood...

nope, is designed to fit lower than the OEM one did so have plenty of room to keep it with a 90º turn then make some more brackets to hold up the intake pipe i had designed for me, all still under OEM style hood

i think with a naca duct over the tb would help the flow but i am confused on how you want it installed

neh best results we got testing it saw 20" short ram pipe yielding most favorable results, go figure.

What is confusing about its installation? It is designed to sit lower than the stock IM top, see pic.

Then off the mounted TB 90º turn, see picture -- attaches to the straight CF pipe --- see same picture --- bolt on a filter and ill make a bracket for it.

The idea is to keep an OEM hood and the clearance is fine, thats how I'll be using it

over 400 cfm on flowbench #s final production part en route to houston now from the fab this Friday

Everything from the length of pipe, to tb through the shorter im and ported runners, into the head and out the exhaust all matched properly, i'm hoping to tune it all before summer school starts up and then over the summer take the hho off the s2k setup as its been working fine daily driven and put it on the h22 and call it the end.

Then come August will get a good 10k+ mile test with it as I travel around the US interviewing and locating possible homes for the following year.

It's really getting me anxious waiting around for shipping each time we test something and send back for more modifications arg

Just an update as some on other forums wondering if I'm still working on this - yes 'am, last final is the same day as the next lap trial for our hydrogen cell car here. As for the im, put it on just for giggles and it is f'n loud, car seemed to have a little bit of a jiggle on the idle so I'm not leaving it on there for now til I can get it to a tuner who knows what he's doing with it. Just waiting for loan to get approved and will be acquiring transmission rebuild parts. Still aiming for May 5 for our next test lap in the s2k with the hydrogen cell and May 28 to be complete with the prelude
