hmm, its hard to say really. If there was a change I dont know if I really felt it that much. I think with an effective tune it might not really matter that much. But I got rid of mine because the thing was noisy as hell. And made my exhaust note very raspy. Im actually looking into going back to stock canister and getting the electronic gate so when I track I can just flip a switch and open it back up.

eBay Motors: BLOX 02 CEL CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ELIMINATOR SENSOR (item 110334897509 end time Feb-05-09 18:11:25 PST)

here is what i use and i have yet to have a cel..its been at least 10,000 miles..i would go the ebay route because jhpusa.com doesnt let you complete an order if its under 20 bucks..so jhpusa.com has an ebay account...so just buy from them on ebay...this is a quality part and fits perfectly..goodluck with you lude man..
+1

I made mine with two spark plug anti-foulers for about $6. This is the best way to run a test pipe without going OBDI/EMS.

i tried the non fouler trick when i put on my test pipe and i havent gotten a code yet and ive had my test pipe on for a few months now. so heres a couple pics of what u should get and do.

u need this....

i got mine at advanced autoparts u should be able to get this at any parts store

and u do this....

on the 5th gen ludes u have to push the heat shield thats on the body of the car a lil up towards the car to get it to fit perfect use like a hammer or something but thats exactly how i did it and havent got a code yet so if ur goin catless i recommend this

Not a big deal. Your sig's just a wee bit bigger than the allotted 150px height.

I currently have a 5th gen (H22A4) SH. DC Headers going down into a GReddy cat-back. I am planning on upgrading the exhaust (because it's what the previous owner had) to something else. But i just wanted to ask...what are the pro's / con's to a straight / test pipe?

nothing really...A cat will help drone out the sound, but in all reality what you will see/feel will not be worth the headache of installing a testpipe/straight pipes
