street tuning my VAFC2 with wideband
I recently intalled my wideband, and began to street tune my VAFC. Right after the install I drove around to get an overview of what my cams are doing to my A/F ratio in VTEC. 14/13's to 5200 then hitting 11/10's. till red line.
sooo..i did -8% at 5000 through redline on the VAFC....-4 at 4500....+2 1-3000
Looks like it helped some by jumping up to 11's/12:1's in Vtec and keeping the ratio down more in the 13's. low 14's before.. feels smoother with no hesistation in vtec..
My question is, are there spikes in the A/F ratio that I can't see that well by looking at a real time wideband... I know a dynotune would be the best but, I dont want to spend money on dyno time until my hytech header is done, and put in 2.5in. highflow cat.
