the track i go to sux! lol ! They never maintain it at all. It is in North carolina and the altitude blows. I think that a 9.37 @ 78mph translates to around a 14.6 or so, correct that for elevation and the crappy track factor, i believe it would have hit 14.3s or 14.4s in the quarter some where with better conditions.
By the way everyone runs like a$$ at this track, i have never hit below a 2.36 60' time.

yo i pretty much have the same head work as you. I took out the adj. camgears cuz skunk2 said with stage2 cams you run the risk of smacking a valve into a piston. i had my valve to piston clearance measured, and it was about an 1/8 inch. anyway, why don't you put a NX wet system setup on there. i'm gonna be runnin a direct port 75 shot with all the head work along with all the bolt ons. hopefully i'll be low 13's maybe high 12's with slicks or somethin.

hey man i had very similar setup, minus the valve job and manifold, i had the honed throttle body though and i used a skunk2 reprogrammed obd1(i would recomend it) and no NOS, but i put down 210 at the wheels wiht a 13.89@99.9 in the quarter, its a sweet setup, vafc vtec xover at 5200 and BAMthat thing is MEAN, i just sold my car, it actually for sale somewhere if yall can find a 98 SH its got all that in it minus header and exhasut now..

where in NC are you,i'm from charlotte, i ran the car up here in ohio where i go to school though, its a sweet setup man, i miss the sound of that car up around 8k rpms, peack power for me was right around 7900 according to the dyno, thats why i recommend a new ecu stock revlimit is before peak power..

that 1/4 mile time makes me extremely happy to hear. did you do that with skunk2 stage2 cams? i'm assuming you did. so basically you had just a built head and you got that? did you have clutch and flywheel to hold the power btween shifts? damn that's an empressive time. i was gonna be hapy with a 14.1. with the work i'm havin done i should be like 13.7 or so.
