skunk2 intake vs euro r opinions please

ok so i know theres a lot of threads about these two but my question is different. id much rather go skunk2 because it sounds easier to install with not much of a difference in increased performance, i was told that skunk2 is better for more built engines sucking in more air becuase of the diameter of the manifold, i have stage 2 brian crower cams. do you think the skunk2 would work well with the cams

I went with the Skunk2 mainly because its an easy installation, cheaper (all things considered), and people have had good results with it. If I am not satisfied with it or just curious to compare, I still might purchase the Euro-R and see which one I like better.

Yes, the Skunk2 manifold will work well with cams.

It all depends on how much money you are willing to spend, what's involved in your build and where you want to develop power.

Then Euro R will make more torque and more hp throughout the power band and will peak at around 7800rpm. The Skunk2 will make more power after 7800 and will give you higher peak hp numbers. If your car is mildly modded you probably won't even notice the difference between the two manifolds.

The Euro R will run you about $500 with all the accessories while I believe the SK2 is about $300.

One thing that you have to also factor in is throttle body sizing. Bigger is not always better so do your homework. Most idiots slap on a 70mm and think that will make the most power. In a way they are correct but an oversized tb can or will slow down throttle response and slow the amount of time it takes for the motor to generate peak hp.
