questions about engine build

hey guys, im new to preludes, and relatively new to hondas. I really love my new prelude. It is a 2000 with a h22a1 in it. I am wanting to get about 200-250 hp to the ground. I currently have headers, stock cat, and cat back exhaust along with a aem v2 cold air intake. I am looking at intake manifold and throttle bodies. My question is what are good brands for preludes? i have read good and bad things about skunk2, What is your opinion on that brand? also, what size should I get? i know ideally you would want to put all parts on at the same time, however if you are like me, you cannot afford to do that, so i need to do what I can with what I have. I want to make sure I put all parts on in the correct order. What do you guys think? I appreciate all of your help

What is required to get to 200whp and 250whp is quite different. If you don't plan on tearing down down the bottom end of your engine, 250whp isn't going to happen. Maybe clarify what you are willing to do and spend? Then we can help you select the parts needed.

What does it matter, so you want more power but what do you intend to do with it?

If you just want to get to 60 faster, then you should just get some NOS.

If I were you I would:
-Get a high-flow cat or test pipe
-Convert to OBD1 and run a P28 ecu with something like Hondata, eCtune, Neptune, Crome Pro, etc.
-Get a Euro-R intake manifold and 68mm throttle body. Port-match the inlet of the Euro-R to the TB.

Then get it tuned by an experienced tuner on the dyno. You should have no problem hitting 180whp or more (assuming your current exhaust and header are decent).

An OBD1 Honda ECU would be 1992-95. You'll need to use a Civic or Integra ECU to be able to use the best ROM editor tuning utilities on the market, such as Hondata, eCtune, Neptune, etc.

1. you can only tune obd1 easily
2. your stock ecu can't be chipped.

Yes, that would work. However, I can beat that price for the same thing. Send me a PM if you are interested in buying
