.... soon to update

disclamer: this is from a year ago, but i thought itd be good for reference.

this is on a 98sh, run 1 is CAI only, run 2 is cai, brullen 2.5" exh and the guy at motown took off the 3nd distributor bolt and tweaked the position a little (dirtylude said this was BS, i dont know what to think, dyno vs. facts = )

ive since added a v-afc and ES motor mount inserts, im working on a header:
lepto's custom header project #1

bdb that's not SAE is it? Did you ever confirm that?

Excuse me if I seem skeptical...it's just that your H22a made more torque than my H23 VTEC fully built....

No that's not SAE. Please don't take these #'s as etched in stone. I also think they are a bit high for the work I've done.

Baseline dyno run made on 02/09/02 @ 3:17PM, about 68F, on a Dynojet 248c. Best run out of 4 runs. Max Power=163.6 Max Torque=135.8

Mods:
Intake Resonator removed
Stock Muffler replaced with Dynomax Ultraflow SS Muffler (straight through)

Notes:
Plot drops off at high RPM due to engine misfire, which I later traced to loose connectors on the ECU harness. This best run was also made after cooling the intake manifold with a blower for about 10-15 minutes, which made a noticable difference (163.6 HP vs about 153-154HP).

2nd dyno run made on 07/09/02 @ 1:51PM, about 92F, on a Dynojet 248c. Best run out of 4 runs. Max Power=164.2 Max Torque=139.6

Mods:
Intake Resonator removed
Stock Muffler replaced with Dynomax Ultraflow SS Muffler (straight through)
AEM Underdrive Pullies

Notes:
I dont recall if the intake manifold was cooled on these runs, it may have been for the later runs. The dyno operator thought that the underdrive pullies made an improvement, but the high temperature masked it. These runs were made on the same dyno the baseline runs were made on.

This proves a couple things:
-You get better numbers in 4th gear
-The Apexi RS (now Apexi WS, same thing) has a DAMN RESTRICTIVE muffler.
-Also proves that the GReddy header seems to perform.

I plan to dyno as soon as I get a VAFC. Expecting 190's. I might even pull off some other small mods like Hondata IM gasket to hit the 200whp mark with just bolt-ons which most people think is impossible.

Was it a Dynojet, and does your dyno shop keep the runs on file? If so, I believe you can get the plots put on disk, and use a Dynojet plot viewer to view them. Then, you could just do a screen shot of the plot, paste it in Paint (or whatever program you have available), save it, then post it! Im going from memory here, but I do recall their being a viewer for Dynojet plots.
