need help reassembling (main bearings, piston rings etc)

i had a rod knocking so i pulled me engine out and went and bought a new block from an individual the only problem is the block is in pieces, there is the block then the rods attached to the pistons and the crank shaft. I bought new piston rings and rod and main bearings.

MY QUESTION IS, what do i need to do to prepair the block like do i need to lube up any places? do i need to do anything specific or do i just put the bearings on attach the rods and bolt the crank in without doing anything??? I mainly want to know the proper way im supposed to assembly everything.

LOL I'm not sure if this question is a joke or not.

You mean can you just throw everything together and bolt it up? Absolutely not. Technically you can, but don't be surprised if it dies after 100 miles with a spun bearing.

Engine building requires lots of time, patience, and technical knowledge. You really need to find an engine builder and let them do it.

If you are actually going to do this yourself, this is what you are in for:

shawnee kansas, and by the way to everyone im not as big as an idiott as everyone on here sounds like there thinking.. haha ive dont this before i just want to do it the right way like 100% legit i already had the crank done and the block honed i know the torque specs on everything and i know you have to lube the pistons when sliding them back in the block with the tool and same with the bearings (bearings go in a specific way i know). just wandering if there is anything else besides that i mean like preparation.

there is more to it than just slapping parts together. There is an amount of measuring thats needs to be done in order to obtain the correct oil protection and flow.
