hello people...i am a newbie just picked up a 1997 prelude and the guy i bought it from said he took it to dobbs and they said it has a external coil is gone bad....for my question now..can i used a older preludes as in a 4th gen h22 coil? he said he put a aftermarket one and it messed up his dizzy..help would be great thanks

I think you can, but why not just pop by autozone and buy a coil? It shouldn't be that expensive.

the reason why i asked found one at the junkyard a 92 prelude with a h22..they wanted 20. so wanted to double check before buying..checked autozone its 69.....advanced auto parts is 77 and oreilys is 66...
