my build is finaly starting

ok so i have had my 94 vtec for about 4.5 years now

i have put alot into her. way to much to even begin to try and list.

but performance wise right now i have a greddy header with a 2.5 collector mod, 2.5 test pipe, rsr exhaust. type s intake with a k and n filter. and a black trax intake manifold spacer stacked with the iab. tuned on a vafc i have 174.8 whp and 149.5 wtq on a dynapack.

well i have 211500 mile on my h22a1 that she came with so im starting to get a lil worried and i dont want to get it with her blowing before i can afford it.

well it is finally coming together in about a week i am picking up a 2000spec a4 so i have 55mm main bearing. brand new bearings bored to .25mm over bore and honed, then real .25 os type s pistons and a new oil pump.

to go on top of that i just picked up a h22 head that has been ported and polished, with crower springs and retainers.

i have a set of skunk 2 stage 1 cams in my closet for this aswell

i also have a custom made clutch from blacktrax it is a 6 puck solid copper sprung clutch and i have a fidanza 8lb flywheel aswell.

i just need to snag some 450 dsm injectors a head gasket and a few other seals here and there a p72 with s300, then a spare intake manifold to port match to the head, and then bored the plenum and throttle body through max bore, and shell be ready to get dropped in my car. then hope to get 1k for my h22 i pull out.

and its going to mate to my m2f4 for now till i get a m2b4

you may as why suck a mild cam why the greddy header and only 11:1 and no a euro manifold. the big reasoning is that i live in California and have to deal with t stupid smog. as of right now i can pass smog if i adjust my timing and put a cat in. i am hoping for the same afterward, the cams are legal in california so the only illegal part ill be adding is ll the porting and the higher compression.

thought i would share i will update here as parts come in, when the head i here ill put pics of everything i have so far.

do you think ill need 550?

my tuner said that 450s would be fine cause my 330s would be at about 90 percent.

would i need a bigger pump for that my intank wont flow enough for it?

Hondata say that 450cc injector from dsm won't function correctly even with the resistor box. Just a heads up

they have also said tat they will work just difcultto tune well my tuner is the one who sajested them to me and if you have heard of blacktrax you know they know what they are talking about.

they already have a h22 basemap for my build with out iabs and differnt cams (s2s2)

so just need to tune cams and having iabs and for my specific engine were looking at about two hours of tuning

ok picked up an engine stand drive to harbor freight picked it up came home and a bolt was stripped so had to run out and snag a new one one form osh, not worht another 40 min round trip to exchange it.

while i was assembeling the stand ups showed up with my head.

there will be pics of the inside of the blcok when i drop the head off to get presure tested, it looks perfect but its cheap to know its gona seal to the HG correctly, also its a good safe spot for it and the block

set together, valve cover is for sale btw

port and polish

crower springs and retainers

and how she shall sit and wait
