More Speed

My son has a 95 Lude and we were going to put new rims on it but he decided he wants more speed! Already have some sort of cold air intake and some sort of breather device (not sure what I'm getting from either), was thinking of new exhaust mani. or checking the compression. It does have a small oil leak in the head gasket area so I'm thinking that's the best place to start with a new timing belt, water pump deal. I was told this was already done (they think) when I bought it but am a little uneasy about the big bang it might be making if it wasn't. Any thots?

1. 'More speed' is pretty vague, but I'll bite. You aren't gonna get any with the simple mods you've mentioned. Furthermore, different wheels (especially larger ones) aren't gonna help your cause, either.

2. What kind of parent are you? Do you leave him in the care of your loaded weapons? The last thing your kid needs is to go faster.

Get him a turbo for his birthday. Nothing could make a kid happier...
