Mind boggling exhaust Q.

i just put on some dc headers (used) on my h23... i had to cut and weld where the a pipe become ones...and weld on to the stock 2ndhalf of the a pipe to make it happen. the reason was that the bolts on my cat on the a pipe would not come off no matter what. so now i got this loud knocking/poping/sputtering sound when my car is under load. in neutral i can rev all i want and it sounds clean no problem..but the moment i put it in gear... at 2k-4k rpms you can hear it loud!! but the moment you let go of the gas is gone...is this exhaust related? it began to do the moment i put the exhaust on. let me know your guys ideas

The best way to get off stuck or rusted on nuts is to heat them up with an oxy-acetylene torch until they are red hot all the way through, then blast them with water. After that, they’ll usually just come off with your fingers.
