they are generally only used on supercharged cars. someone dyno'd one on an NA car a while back and it actually lost power (or so i'm told, I have yet to find the actual dyno sheet or original info). It has to do with the super short primaries, though I'm no expert in exhaust flow and pulse dynamics so I cant really explain it
