Well if you buy a AEM V2, you won't have a stock intake would you?

It's kind of like saying:

I've got stock rims, I want to put aftermarket volks on there, will I still be able to fit hubcaps on my rims?

One would imagine that they meant fitting a K&N pod filter rather than say taping the panel filter on to their V2 (essentially what they asked).

With stock intake though you have stock paper filter vs. K&N. One would imagine that the AEM V2 already comes with a decent filter? If it were say cheap ebay SRI, then replacing the provided pod with a K&N one might make a noticeable difference.
