jdm obd1 h22 build?

im not sure in which direction i would like to take my build towards, boost or all motor. but at the moment i have a jdm h22 w/ 70mm tb, rc440, vteckidd header. i have already purchased, but yet to install, skunk2 pro 2 cams and cam gears. i still need to get the valve train for them. now i am wondering i should approach the build. i was thinking f22 crank and beefed up rods w/ the h22 pistons, or stock h22 w/ type s pistons or some mahle if i can find them for a reasonable price. or throw a couple psi into the motor for awhile and blow it up because of the ringland and be sol.

Does the motor need a rebuild or is it still healthy and strong?
