Installing STD rings H22A4

I'm working on my 2000 Type-S. T-belt broke. Pulled the head and found no damage to the valve train. I was going to install new rings, but I don't know the history of this engine. How do I know if the pistons are Standard or Oversized. Piston has AO and P5M stamped on the crown,P5M on one side' HF1 on the other. Also has 2 circles wit 3 lines each stamped on the side. Also, is it ok to ball hone the cylinders? What about FRM? Any help greatly appreciated!

Well there is standard (unmarked), B and oversized. Should also be stamped on the block (all 4 in the corner and next to each cylinder), although since B is smaller than A and A smaller than OS the cylinders could have been bored B->A->OS.

Shouldn't it be P5P anyway? P5M would be the standard pistons no? Pretty sure Type S should be P5P. 13010-P5P-J00 for A, 13020 for B and 13030 for OS.

Helms I believe has info on cylinder honing (stone, pressure, rpm, etc.).

Yeah the H22 honing procedure is very specific. I know a lot of shops won't use that procedure; the ones that will are probably more expensive.
