Ignition questions?????

I've narrowed it down sort of. To which ignition I want but know nothing about them.
Why I want one??
-To retard timing for nitrous I have a 55 shot Zex kit.
-I also have a little problem with hitting my rev-limiter and wanted one that has a soft-rev limiter.
What else do I need to but if I buy one of these as well???
Here's what I'm thinking.

Neuspeed/Accel Thundersport

Holley Annihilater
or an MSD either digital or 6AL or whatever the one with rev limiter is.
I've found the Neuspeed for $240.
The Holley for $167.00
and the MSd for $280 for digital and $170 for the other one.
What do you guys recommend for what I need???
Thank You.

I dont have an aftermarket ignition so I cant really recommend anything but I can tell you what I will be going with when I do upgrade. I plan on going with the MSD 6AL, matched with a blaster or SS coil, and Magnacore wires.

Im basing this purely on what I have read about MSD's reliability and such. I have never read any reviews about the Accel kit, but the 300+ ignition they use has some very impressive specs. It has longer spark duration, higher single and multiple spark energy, and higher voltage than the MSD 6 series...

I say go for it and let us know what you think.

Show me a dyno plot that shows you any appreciable change in power. Then I'll recommend a system. Unless you want boost/NOS- based timing control... I wouldn't waste your money.

Well... if your were OBD-I, then you could retard ignition by rotating the distributor. But since you are OBD-II then you would have to buy an ignition to retard.

PS: The OBD-I distributor rotating makes the ignition always retarded, where with an ignition you can adjust it to make the ignition retard at a certain value under boost situations.
