I have a 204whp EF Hatch

With a N/A H22 in it.

It is breathing through a stock header (Prelude primaries, Accord b-pipe) and a stock intake manifold and throttle body.

It was tuned at Blacktrax on Tuesday using Neptune RTP.

The car has a full interior, and with that + spare tire kit/tools weighs 2370 with most of a tank of gas.

This car is going to kill me.

Will post dynos later on today.

For some reason I thought you had an EG hatch. Nice numbers. Hope you have some sticky tires.

Nice! Thanks for not putting ghetto rigged ITB's on the stock D series, or wasting the time/money swapping in another D series that is equally worthless... 2.2L DOHC VTAK FTW! Sounds like a fun car.

I'd be making a lot more power more cheaply if I had just turboed the stock Si motor.

This is the engine running on a p13, versus what tuning got it to today.
The difference between the two other than the Neptune RTP and p72, is yesterday's tuning included Crower Stage 2b cams (stock idle lobes)

This is the tuned engine without the cams versus with the cams.

The engine has type-s pistons, the crower cams, no balance shafts.
Stock IM/TB w/ AEM CAI (it was conveniently available) and a stock header which is a Prelude upper with an Accord bottom.

I figure I'd pick up a ****-ton of power if I do anything external to the engine now.

Unfortunately, because of the difference in the two cam profiles, we couldn't tune out that dip before 4700 rpm no matter what we did with fuel/timing or vtec x-over. I think it could be fixed with an IM and header change.

Well if a certain someone who was liquidating all his Prelude stuff had allowed me to pay more than the last person did for a particular header, I'd have this taken care of.

Wanna race? (In a straight line.)

Are type-s pistons legal for HC? I think it would be worthwhile if they are.

In H1 they are. I'm building an H1 engine right now. Type S pistons, welded combustion chambers (hoping for 13:1 or higher CR), headwork by Larry, Euro R IM, and Ferrea/Crane roller cams and rockers. I have all the parts ready, I just need to drop the head off at Larry's place. He finished the bottom end a week or so ago.

Your car would put a hurtin' on mine in a straight line. I have the same power as you, 204WHP SAE, but I'm a fair bit heavier at just under 2700 lbs with me in the car. I'm hoping to get down to just over 2600 with me in it, but I'm not sure if I can get it that light.

SO true, I amend my prior statement to bashing the modification of a D series for N/A. Budget turbo D-series builds can be fun as hell when done right! I want to do one next.

I wonder what it would be like if I pulled some external parts from the lude and slapped them on this car.
