HP gain question

Ok I know this is a really vague, hard to answer question and I'm not looking for anything exact, but I haven't seen anywhere what kind of gains to expect with the build I'm doing, so I was just wondering if anyone could give me a ballpark number. What kind of hp gain am I looking at with:

Crower Stage 2 Camshafts
Crower Oversized Valves/Springs/Steel Retainers
AEM Cam Gears

The only mods currently are (H22A1): AEM CAI, Megan Racing Header, Test Pipe, Aftermarket muffler (not sure what unit).

Thank you much

The only info I can give you is to surf through our dyno plot sticky at the top of the forum. That will give you an idea of what to expect. The biggest variable is tuning. I see no tune on your list, so your gains will be minimal without that.

Would a piggyback unit like a VAFC be good enough to tune with or would I need something along the lines of Hondata or NepTune?

VAFC is ok, but a tuned ECU will give you much better tuning capabilities.

I already have a VAFC but I'll probably sell it because A) I wouldn't install it until after I do the headwork which will be a while from now, and B) I like the idea of a standalone unit much better anyway. I searched around and learned that I'd have to do the OBDII workaround before I could tune with a standalone, but the link in the N/A library is broken so if anyone could help me out and tell me what the workaround is, it would be greatly appreciated.

The workaround is obsolete. Actually I need to remove it from the library. All you need is an OBD2->1 conversion harness and an OBD1 ECU.

Since we are on the subject, I strongly recommend not running a Hondata. They are thugs and @ssholes, and I encourage everyone not to do business with them (aside from their silly bug problems).

Well you already answered my question then because I haven't heard many good things about Uberdata or Crome, so I was trying to decide between Hondata and NepTune, so I guess NepTune it is. I'll have to drive all the way to the Chicago area to get it tuned, but hopefully it will be worth it.

Thanks

Besides skunk2 what other options are there? I haven't heard anything good about the skunk2 cams, and JUN is really expensive I'm going to assume.... Any other options to consider?
