Hello, New guy with an idea.

Hello, i just signed up for this forum, i did not see an intro thread, so i figured i would just introdice myself here. I have 94 Prelude with a JDM h22, Gude head, port, polish, valve job, milled, and bored intake, Greddy header, with a full exhaust, no cat, p13 tuned ECU, AEM cam gears, balance shafts removed, racing clutch, short throw shift, and a few other goodies. Im from east hartford Ct, orriginally from Stafford. The prelude is just one of the cars in my collection, also have an 89 BMW 525i(for sale), lifted 88 Toyota pickup 4X4(also for sale), and a 1941 Plymouth Special DeLuxe.

i want to get even more power from my car, I was thinking about a turbo.. but with the way i want to do it, id be in over 8k just to do it right, so thats on the back burner till i have enough cash. So i think im going to do a 50-75 wet shot of n2o. Now for what i was thinking about, tonight, on my ride to work it was the coldest weather ive driven in with this car since i bought it, and i noticed that the cold air intake makes it really noticeable how much more power colder air makes, SO... i was thinking about adding a small intercooler with a co2 sprayer to my intake, has anyone done this? think it will work? i can get a cheap-o intercooler for about 75 bucks tops, and i already have a solonoid, some tubing, a regulator, and a co2 tank, and i think i can fab up an intercooler sprayer from copper tubing. just an idea i had, thanks in advance for any input.

i thought about this about 2 years ago. but from what most people told me the engine itself doesnt have enough to suck the air through, but a turbo pushing it through is fine

thats why i was asking, it would be adding ALOT to the length of the intake, making it much harder to suck through, probably a bad idea. What if i wrapped the intake tube with preforated copper tubing, and ran c02 through that? that would cool down the intake, and not restrict it al all right? eeh, mybe ill just suck it up and buy a nitrous kit.
