Header question

This may be a noob question but if you go with an aftermarket header (vibrant, rmf, smsp) do you lose your a/c and p/s? Thanks!

Well some of the designs aren't even for Preludes (H22 Civic swaps, etc.). There are definitely high performance designs that are designed for Preludes and aren't so big that A/C and P/S have to go.

The vibrant h22 one lets you keep both, that's all I know of

well, the way the h22 motor is set up, you won't have to lose anything. all the ac and the ps is on the side. check out hytech headers, look into try-y headers, they go for 1200bucks, replicas go for 450bucks, if you live in california as do i, the only way to go is dc sport ceramic, because it's the only one that's smog legal.

now, you can take out the a/c and p/s and gain some hp but to me, it's not worth gaining 5-10hp just for a lil more work steering and a/c. just my opinion..

I guess you going around searching for specific questions and trying to answer them?

There are specific headers that will cause you to lose these accessories.

Btw since you mentioned you wouldn't remove those just for 5-10 hp, why add a DC header then? Those are pretty much the same as the OEM header performance wise. So basically you paid for little to no gain.
