I agree...

THe bigger is better idea has kind of taken off in the TB market... After years of dyno testing at IB niether myself or Jeff have ever really seen anything eye opening about bigger TB's... I think the best option for mildly mod'd - fully built street cars is a bored or taper bored stock TB...

A good person to talk to regarding this is Javier of JG Engine Dynamics... The guy is what some say, the godfather of this sport, hes done it all and then some and definitely has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to different TB's...

everyone needs to be reminded this is not a dynojet dyno so the numbers can't be compared to that of a dynojet dyno

Dynapaks have been known to be about 1-7 WHP off +/- of a dynojets reading

but most Dynapaks read dead on to what Dynojets do... Church's is pretty damn close in comparison to the local dynojets (Pro Street, Hookups, etc, etc)

Of course, the correction factor isn't visible on that graph, so there's more to wonder about.

you bumped a year old topic to make that comment?

Thanks for the contribution.

Was anymore information made available on the engine? Pictures? Why open it up and do a valve job but leave the stock valvetrain in place?
