Hello pals
I am new to the forum but I've been reading many post without posting!
Aniway, the idea is that I am going to purchase a BB2-BB4 Jdm prelude next spring. The car will come with the original H22a and will probably be equiped with the Lsd transmission. However, I heard that the viscous LSD (M2B4) is not that good.
Plus, I really want to swap a Type S motor in my car, or a ATR engine (h22a7) because that engine is already modified from the factory
I am worried because I heard that the type S is :running dual runner in the intake, Obd2, computer is set for atts, and the transmission coming with these engine is supposed to run with atts?? Since my car wont be ATTS I think I've got a problem there..
So, I was planing to sell the whole engine coming with my car and the stock LSD transmission since there's not many parts around for it (mostly 4.7 gears that are only avaible for the NON-LSD transmission + I want to use a Quaife LSD instead).
I would like to know if a Type S engine, or an ATR engine would be alright to use with a M2a4 NON-LSD. Plus would I have computer issues with the type S ecu since its ATTS.
The ATR engine is way more expensive, so if the Type S one would work too it would be fine. However, even if the ecu is setted for atts and I use a Hondata s200-s300 and a non-lsd transmission, can I use the Type S engine?
It seems like this info is not around..So thanks!
