h22a1 all motor build

hey all i was wondering what the best all motor build would be, i was thinking of doing a full JUN build (their all motor prelude made 250whp with nothing but aggressive intake cam, exhaust, and intake). so if i did a FULL (head and block) build it would make maybe about 3-350?

what are pther good build ideas and how much is the max power you can make from an all motor build?

well allmosty every dyno reads differentally

too get 250whp it wil take a decent ammount
too get too 300-350whp...it will perty much take custom parts and race gas all the time

iv seen a hatch all motor h22 build that made 250 to the wheels though, and it was ok regular gas and just pretty much a bunch of different parts.

wellp there are custom pistons out there for h22's
factory frm bore is 87mil

frm piston there are
11.0.1 type s pistons
11.5.1 mhale frm pistons
12.0.1 jun frm pistons

then the forged pistons that require sleaving you can those sleaves in allmost any size
they have perty much any compression piston you want

also if you run a h23/f22 crank or a f23 crank w the right rod compression will change
and most h22's that have over 300whp atleast have the 95 mil h23 crank! and all are running race gas of some kind

play w this compression calculator Honda H-Series and F-Series Compression Calculator by ZealAutowerks

my current stock h22 (90 mil) w type s pistons made 235whp n/a running a beast of 12.7@107mph alot of weight reduction
it is around 12.0.1 cr with the milled head and flat faced valves,,,also runs on e85 im a mid west guy so it is avaiable...

ok cool, id preobably be using a JUN crankshaft and rods here i got this list last night:

JUN lightweight flywheel $448.58
JUN reinforced crank main bolt $281.97
Jun lightweight clutch $1153.49
JUN cam slide sprocket $207.07
JUN head studs $358.86
JUN titanium high performance retainers $743.36
JUN valve guides bronze/titanium $328.11/153.80
JUN racing valve springs $487.03
JUN racing crankshaft $582.04
JUN racing header & downpipe $1215.58
JUN forged rods $204.02

DARTON MID. sleeves $685.00

=5223.99
+600 (tune)
=5823.99

hopefully 14.0.1 cr pistons -15.0.1 cr pistons
still deciding on cams and cam gears, maybe HKS aggressive or the JUN high lift with good gears.

i would find out what the stroke is on that jun crankshaft?
my geuss is you send a core in and they have a prepped and balanced
crank ready for ya....

also make sure you have a good fuel supply for this build
were talking pump regulator and injectors...also run atleast a min of 104
you probally want somewhere around 110 for 14.0.1 or higger compression

what are your end goals w the car?

also what gas are you going too run?
i only ask because that will decide what size pump and injectors you need
880's will be perty much maxed out on methonal!! but 880's on c16 race gas will be ok

not happening 300whp on regular 93 octane is darn near imposible
250whp is perty doable but 300whp on a pump gas daily driver is perty much impossibel

the compression that will be need to make 300whp is too high for pump gas
the general rule is 12.0.1 or higher needs more octane,,,but some people
w good set-up's have ran close too 13.0.1 on pump but would make more power on race gas..

dude, you need to do more research.
You don't seem to know enough about motors in general to do a build like this. You're not gonna get a 300whp DD car on pump gas.
I'v only seen 1 h22 thats for the street that made 303whp and that is Scott aka 2point6 which has a 2.5L I believe.
250whp is doable with 12:1 compression
Do something like this,

h23 crank
12.5:1 compression
skunk2 pro3 w/ full valvetrain
euro r manifold
smsp/hytech/rmf/ssr header
3" exhaust
port work
Some sort of EMS
thats just the main parts of it.

agreed
the ammount of people makieing 300whp on a pump gas is very small

h23 95mil stroke combo w a standard high compression piston
will make good power
