h22 with h23 crank, 230hp/200trq all stock?!

Been tossing around putting a new motor setup in my shop for a while for building. Going to be an all motor setup on h2b. A friend of mine has a h2b all stock in an eg and it ran a 13.2 1/4 mile so I figure it's a decent setup to build up.

I heard some big numbers were put down on a stock h22a with an h23 crankshaft, around 230wheel hp and 200wheel torque, is this true and how? Everything was all stock minus the crankshaft swap and it was dynoed and tuned but those are nice numbers regardless. Has anyone had experience with this setup or knowledge upon it?? Thank you in advance

Ok well that is just what I heard, just figured I'd ask someone because I didn't believe it either. I didn't know if there was a difference of how the pistons sat or anything so to raise the compression or anything with a h23 crank.

Thanks for the insight but any idea if running a h23 crank in a h22 will have any effects at all? Just for the sake of knowing.

Blake from pp.com (98vtec) is running a similar setup. He knows what he's doing and got 215whp and 175 torque. Don't think your gonna see 230/200

sorry, but the guys are right, youre lucky if you see 200-210. blake did extensive tuning to get those numbers and ive helped him build it from day 1, theres more to it than just changing the crank to get better #s.
