fuel pressure regulator and vafc?

Right now I have a adjustable fuel pressure regulator and it was set around 60 psi, well it just took a sh!t I think, my question is when I put my stock one back on am I going to have to get my vafc settings re done??? Or will I be okay?

I would say yes because it will require a different settings to get that same fuel curve at lower fuel pressure....howcome your taking your adjustable fpr off?

why were you running at 60psi? That's huge...

You would totally have to get your settings redone....stock is like 38-42psi

Well I will tell you what, there is a serious lack of dyno tuners around here that know what the hell they are doing, you can't seem to trust anybody anymore.

The tuner said it was good to have more pressure in the fuel rail ,then lean it out electronically with the vafc, because I have nitrous. But the problem is this adustable b&m piece that adapts to my stock regulator has ruined two regulators, I think so that's why I am going to take it off and just use a stock one. I believe my computer can compensate fine for my nitrous. The problem is there are no more dyno techs in this area that I know about, and I don't want to lean out my motor. The vafc's are one thing I can't get a grasp on no matter how much I read. Any suggestions? see the below thread
