exhaust problem please help!

so i just got my megan racing headers and down pipe today, i also got my cat-back 2.5" exhaust today. sadly my downpipes outlet is only 2" flat. how can i make up the difference? would i have to buy new headers and downpipe?

do they make a 2" to 2.5" test pipe? (im not putting the cat back on im going to use a test pipe. i was told to just get a 2.25" test pipe then just put the 2.5" exhaust to that. so it just gets bigger from the headers but i dont know if thats a good idea. please help!

The "best" way to do it is to have a short transition pipe welded on to the front of the test pipe that starts at 2.0" and opens up to 2.5" where it joins the test pipe.

do you know of any sites or brands where i can find a 2.5 outlet downpipe for a decent price? and about how much does it cost to have one custom made, (one that pretty much includes the test pipe. so it would go from the down pipe straight to the rest of the exhaust.

I would recommend having a shop that can do pipe bending just make you one. I personally use a Vibrant reducer pipe that goes 2.5" to 3.0", but they don't make one small enough in diameter for what you need.
