Ebay piping with Apexi n1 muffler

I dont have enough money for a name brand cat back exhaust system kit. I was thinking of getting an ebay exhaust for the stainless steal mandrel bent tubing and cutting off the POS ebay muffler and welding on the apexi n1 muffler. I can save about 250-300 dollars this way. Any comments?

Should work just fine as long as the welding is done properly.

Hmm, never heard of those. I dont know how to weld so this wouldnt really be ideal for me with the welding prices and all. Any good ebay exhaust kits around? Links would be nice, theres just so many and i dont know which one to go with

well, you'd take the kteller weld up kit to someone who knows how to weld. the pipes are pre-bent, so it shouldn't take too much effort for a skilled welder to put it together.

here's a pic of my exhaust which includes kteller mandrel bent piping.

Most exhaust/muffler shops should be able to make one for you for a pretty cheap price. I have had all my exhausts custom made and they have been rarely cheap. Maybe 130-170 is the most I paid. That was getting it custom from the cat back plus getting my hks hi-power welded up to it. Just some info you might want to look into. I have had them done in San Diego, Phoenix and Dallas all for around that price range. Just call around shop to shop and find the lowest price.
